The Job
1. Network Strategy & Development
Design and execute strategies to expand and optimize the provider network in Hong Kong.
Identify network gaps and ensure adequate coverage across specialties and geographies.
Support integration of value-based care models and alternative payment arrangements.
2. Contracting & Negotiation
Lead complex negotiations with hospitals, clinics, and specialty centers.
Finalize agreements including direct billing, discounted fee arrangements, and performance-based contracts.
Ensure contracts comply with local regulations and align with business objectives.
3. Provider Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key providers and third-party administrators (TPAs).
Monitor service quality and agreement compliance.
Resolve escalated provider issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.
4. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to Hong Kong healthcare regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and audit processes.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of staff .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Claims, Pre-authorization, Sales, Agents and Client Management.
6. Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze provider performance, pricing data, and utilization trends.
Provide strategic insights to support cost containment and network optimization.
The Person
University degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7 years of experience in provider network management or healthcare operations.
Proven leadership experience in a matrixed environment.
Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s healthcare landscape and regulatory framework.
Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s healthcare system and regulatory environment.
Familiarity with Hong Kong provider networks and healthcare trends.
Experience working with TPAs, clinics and hospitals.
Knowledge of cost containment strategies and fee schedule development.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with VHIS and group medical plans
