About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager, Product to own and drive the vision for our suite of compliance products. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring our customers can effortlessly navigate the complex landscape of federal and state transportation regulations. You will be the subject matter expert on all things compliance, from Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to DVIR and IFTA.

The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed product leader who can blend deep regulatory knowledge with strong technical acumen. You will work at the intersection of engineering, design, sales, and marketing to define, build, and launch products that are not only compliant but also intuitive and valuable to our users.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision:
    • Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap for all compliance-related features, including ELD/HOS, DVIR, IFTA, and emerging regulations.
    • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert on fleet compliance, staying ahead of regulatory changes from the FMCSA, DOT, and other governing bodies.
    • Conduct in-depth market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify customer pain points and uncover new product opportunities.
    • Define and articulate a clear product vision, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Execution & Go-to-Market:
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for our engineering teams.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering and UX/UI design in an agile environment to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and discovery through development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
    • Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, effectively communicating product plans, technical trade-offs, and project status.
    • Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and build a community of advocates.
    • Support the sales and customer success teams as the go-to product expert on customer calls, in product demonstrations, and for regulatory inquiries.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep, demonstrable understanding of the fleet compliance ecosystem, including extensive knowledge of ELD mandates, Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), IFTA fuel tax reporting, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing and launching successful products throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage in detailed conversations with engineers about architecture, APIs, and technical trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively with sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive product decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working in the telematics, fleet management, or transportation technology industry.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
