Your New Role
Distribution:
Sales Analyses & Reporting
Film release strategy & planning
Reporting, performance analysis, and review of revenue estimates
Competitive and local title box office tracking and analysis
Coordination of film censor, tech operations, and localization needs
Tracking of market trends, preparation of annual regional reporting
Maintain Sales and select Finance systems for covered markets, including but not limited to DASH, MACCS, WB360, EBP, and QuickBase apps
Ensure that data integrity is maintained across all reporting
Train and provide support to affiliate and licensee sales teams
Verify territories’ data on DASH and QuickBase
Exhibitor relations
Coordinate participation in trade presentations and regional shows
Anti-Piracy
Liaise with MPA, Home Office, and vendors on take-down notices
Ensure that the territories adhere to required print security
Marketing:
Promotion
Preparation of the advertising and publicity budget for the film release
Required to submit the advertising plan to Home office for approval.
Work closely with media agency to achieve an effective advertising campaign.
Liaise with Home Office on the delivery of advertising and publicity materials.
Create localized campaigns for the film.
Work with creative agency and production house on localization of advertising and publicity materials.
Vet all advertising materials before sending out to the various media for publication or broadcast.
Compile Marketing Report for Regional Office, showcasing the advertising and promotional highlights for each film release.
Promotions
Prepare proposals and presentation kits.
Pitch and secure high-impact 3rd party partnerships for each film release.
Negotiate with media owners to roll-out promotions such as newspaper-drive movie previews for word-of-mouth, or on-air radio contests for out-reach.
Develop in-theatre promotions with local exhibitors.
Co-ordinate approvals with Regional and Home Office for the various promotions.
Publicity
Maintain strong rapport with local press, media owners and important contacts on a regular basis.
Nominate local press for overseas star tours and co-ordinate with Regional and Home Offices.
Pitch for newspaper/magazine covers, as well as feature stories on all key media.
Co-ordinate work-of-mouth, promotional and press screenings.
Organize local star tour activities such as press conference, interview sessions with key press, special appearance at public events and premiere.
Co-ordinate screening invites to press, local celebrities and social media influences.
Work with media agency on paid publicity via our approved social media channels pre-launch and sustaining in-season.
Media Management Duties
In-charge of local Media Agency Review – set up meetings with leading agencies to determine the finalists for the pitch, plan the pitch schedule, as well as liaise with Home and Regional Offices on the new agency appointment and contracts.
Co-ordinate local Media Agency Audit with Hone Office. Liaise closely with media agency and appointed U.S. audit agency to ensure a smooth audit process and review.
Monthly meetings with key media owners on updates of the latest media packages and tending for traditional as well as new digital media.
