McKesson is seeking a strong and self-motivated individual to serve as Sr. Manager, FP&A for its Specialty limited distribution business (McKesson Plasma and Biologics). This position supports month-end close activities, development of the annual operating plan, financial forecast, and long-range plan. The role also leads the development and implementation of new analytics and dashboards to support increased demands for financial support driven by the exponential growth of a dynamic business. The individual will help lead product- and customer-level analysis and trend capture to aid in forecasting and budgeting, as well as perform ad hoc projects. The Sr. Manager will partner closely with operations leadership teams, supplier facing teams, sales, and operations divisions, as well as various finance departments across the organization. The Sr. Manager is a trusted business partner to various operations leaders who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making. Effective communication skills, strong leadership, and consistent accurate and timely execution are key attributes for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results
Development of the annual budget and long-term planning
Partner with accounting and operations to streamline financial processes
Maintain and enhance customer- and segment-level reporting
Partner with pricing on customer negotiations and support new contract/renewal modeling
Partner with Accounting, Segment relations, and Manufacturing relations teams to ensure fees are collected and processed appropriately
Ability to generate business insight from large datasets
Communicate period- and scenario- variances to budget/forecast to FP&A consolidation team
Partner with Enterprise Analytics to develop customer- and product-level trend analysis
Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Science, Mathematics or related disciplines required
Critical Skills
Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience, primarily within an FP&A environment
Strong data analytical, modeling and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data and provide recommendations
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Prior FP&A experience preferred
SAP and BW COPA
PowerBI preferred
BPC preferred
SQL preferred
Salary: 122,100.00 - 162,800.00 - 203,500.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP
(Budgeted Comp for TX 140,000-148,000 with 20% MIP)
