Base salary will be in the range $135,300 - $143,081 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 9)

The University of Queensland is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Enterprise Support Systems to lead the management and delivery of Student Administration and Finance ERP environments across the University. This role oversees the provision of robust, cost-effective operational and professional services, ensuring critical enterprise platforms are aligned with business needs. You’ll lead a large cross-functional team, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, strategic outcomes that support UQ’s operational excellence and long-term goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage the delivery and operational support of enterprise applications to agreed service standards, including managing the service pipeline and governance of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of enterprise systems.
Lead, mentor and empower a high-performing team to deliver high standards of customer service, effective delivery of service and continuous improvement across Student Administration and Finance ERP environments.
Oversee large and complex IT projects and budgets, ensuring quality outcomes, sound governance and adherence to UQ’s cyber security and compliance standards.

You’re an experienced and hands-on IT leader who thrives on delivering complex technology services in a fast-paced environment. With a strong background in enterprise applications and ERP platforms, you’re passionate about transformation, collaboration and achieving meaningful business outcomes.
You will bring:
Postgraduate qualifications in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Extensive experience managing enterprise applications in complex environments, including Oracle PeopleSoft ERP systems.
Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams through change while maintaining high service standards.
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale IT projects and managing budgets effectively.
Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on innovation and process improvement.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience delivering services in an agile environment.
Experience in the higher education sector is desirable, though not essential.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
