R_327644 Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk Consulting
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Resilience consulting practice, which forms part of Marsh’s Strategic Risk Consulting team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Risk and Resilience practice brings together both Enterprise Risk and Resilience consulting expertise. By uniting these disciplines in one team we help clients to manage risk and prepare for disruptive events coherently. Our team brings together experience gained from industry, government, the military and crisis communications. By drawing on our broad experience, we help clients to tackle challenges in new ways.

We will count on you to:
- Grow your consulting career by adding your considerable talents to our established team of experts. Providing innovative risk assessments, risk governance and thematic deep dive risk reviews.
- Handle exposure to an array of industries and business models, from niche manufacturers to multi-national enterprises.
- Work on multiple project types, managing resources and priorities focussed predominantly on ERM (governance, core risk management process and framework design) disciplines with the opportunity to integrate resilience capabilities into your projects.
- Undertake short, impactful projects that will expand your experience across various industries quickly.
- Lead client-facing ERM, governance, strategic risk and insurance alignment projects in the UK and overseas.
- Help organisations of all shapes and sizes benefit from independent enterprise risk analysis and its management in a way relevant to their businesses.
- Have an in depth working knowledge of ERM related industry standards and good practice.
- Solve our clients’ risk challenges by defining the issues, developing options and making practical recommendations.
- Managing multiple consulting programmes and projects from definition to handover.
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to develop first class consulting deliverables.
What you need to have:
- ERM consulting experience.
- Strong core consulting skillset e.g. analysis, risk & control implementation planning and delivery, written and verbal communication, project management
- Demonstrable evidence of managing projects.
- An ability to build a rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
A strong background as a Risk Management Expert at a large corporate is also acceptable. You should be able to demonstrate internal consulting credentials in this capacity.

- Previous experience in risk framework design, accountancy or internal audit.
- Cross industry experience e.g. Energy, Mining, Aviation, Technology, Chemical, Retail, Financial Services etc.
