Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights (COE)

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

You will join the Channel Performance, Initiatives & Analytics team in RBC’s Digital & Personal Distribution (DPD), and play a critical role in managing the Advice Centre performance reporting that informs senior leadership decisions and drives business outcomes. You will lead the development and implementation of analytics strategies to drive business outcomes and improve client experience across Centres of Excellence (COEs). You will also support national initiatives and strategic projects, leveraging advanced analytics to inform the long-term channel strategy, improve client experience, and strengthen advisor capabilities.

What will you do?

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of COE operations and identify opportunities for analytics-driven insights
  • Design and implement analytics solutions to measure COE performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks
  • Collaborate with COE leaders and stakeholders to identify and prioritize analytics needs and develop business cases and targeted solutions
  • Work closely with Lines of Business (LOBs) to establish consistent performance monitoring routines and ensure alignment with enterprise goals and priorities
  • Proactively support senior leadership with strategic insights across multiple lines of business, channels, and products, including identifying opportunities to improve channel performance, sales, client experience, and employee experience
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and segmentation, to drive business outcomes and improve client experience
  • Partner with the data enablement & delivery teams to develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track COE performance and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Establish ongoing monitoring process to identify and address data quality issues and develop strategies to improve data accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data experts and business partners, effectively managing multiple priorities, ad-hoc requests, and long-term initiatives in a fast-paced environment

**Note: The successful candidate may be required to work from both the RBC Meadowvale Centre in Mississauga and RBC Waterpark Place in Toronto 4 days per week**

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proven experience in analytics, with a focus on performance management and delivering strategic business insights
  • Strong business acumen and analytics skills, with the ability to interpret complex data to support decision-making
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, paired with advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking, critical evaluation, and innovative problem-solving
  • Skilled in trend analysis and forecasting to anticipate business performance and identify opportunities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge in channel operation including the Advice Centre, Digital, and/or Physical Network channels
  • Experience in Advice Centre, Canadian Banking Operations, or Canadian Banking Finance
  • Knowledge of data management principles, data pipelines, and best practices in handling large datasets
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development
  • Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or related quantitative field
  • MBA or CPA is a plus
