Role Overview: We're looking for a pragmatic, intelligent, and collaborative team player to join our commercial legal team. You'll work closely with our sales and partnerships teams across all levels of the organization. Key responsibilities include negotiating customer contracts, channel agreements, strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

What will you do?

  • Negotiate a variety of agreements with customers, channel partners, strategic partners, and other business parties.
  • Provide expert counsel on commercial, privacy, regulatory, and legal compliance matters.
  • Provide day-to-day commercial legal support, business-focused counseling, and advice to the sales organization. 
  • Collaborate with revenue operations, sales operations, and product teams to align agreements with corporate policies.
  • Lead internal projects, training initiatives, and cross-functional efforts.
  • Deliver a positive client-facing experience. 

What skills and experience should you bring? 

  • Minimum of 5+ years combined experience at a law firm and in-house at a global company drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including good working knowledge of SaaS agreements, technology licensing, strategic deals, and channel agreements (such as resellers, distribution, MSP, etc.). SaaS commercial experience is highly desired. Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
  • J.D or an equivalent degree from an accredited law school. 
  • Active license to practice law in the United States.  
  • Good understanding of data protection laws (including GDPR) and experience negotiating DPAs, including CIPP certification, is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve complex problems with a thorough understanding of the changing legal needs in a fast-growing business environment
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and work independently and willingness to be flexible and adaptive in a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to lead and operate in a fast-paced, flexible culture and excel under pressure while maintaining an accountable, collaborative, positive, and pleasant attitude

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.  If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting process. You can also reach out to the recruiter with any questions.

Base Salary Range
$180,000$248,000 USD
