Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives across a diverse range of technical domains. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with extensive expertise in IT project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will manage large-scale software implementations, application integrations, cybersecurity and identity projects, cloud architecture deployments, and enterprise SaaS initiatives..
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all phases of complex IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff, external vendors, and consultants.
Oversee software implementations, integrations, and infrastructure deployments with a focus on quality and scalability.
Drive cybersecurity and identity-related initiatives in collaboration with security and compliance teams.
Facilitate enterprise-wide change management efforts to ensure adoption and minimize disruption.
Manage project budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Provide executive-level reporting and communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.
