Equifax is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Insights Analyst to support our new product, the Ignite AI Advisor. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all client-facing data, charts, and insights used within the platform. You will translate data elements into precise, defined, and quality-assured insights and visualizations that directly drive client decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for all data definitions, formulas, logic, and metrics presented to clients within the Ignite AI Advisor.

  • Author and maintain a centralized repository of data definitions, transformation logic, and metric calculation formulas, ensuring a single source of truth is available to all product, engineering, and sales teams.

  • Lead the end-to-end data quality assurance (QA) process, from source data validation through to the final presentation layer, rigorously testing and certifying the accuracy of all charts and metrics prior to release.

  • Partner closely with Product Management, IT, and Sales to build and design data-driven narratives and visualizations aligned with market strategy.

  • Act as the critical bridge between Data & Analytics and the product engineering teams, providing clear, unambiguous data requirements and rapidly resolving complex data discrepancies or bugs encountered during development.

  • Build wireframes and mockups of dashboards and reports as needed to communicate visualization/ functionality internally and to clients.

What experience you need

  • BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience in a related role, with experience demonstrating leadership capabilities 

  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data validation against big data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Spark, Hive).

  • Demonstrated ability to document data lineage, transformation rules, and business logic with precision and clarity.

  • Proven experience leading data QA or user acceptance testing (UAT) for client-facing analytical products or dashboards.

  • Experience using Tableau & BI tools is a plus

  • Familiarity with the credit reporting industry, risk management, and the regulatory environment (CFPB).

  • Experience with advanced data visualization tools (like Spotfire, Tableau) and the principles of clear data communication ("Storytelling with Data").

  • Basic understanding of predictive modeling concepts and their downstream impact on metric accuracy.
