This position is designed for an experienced HR professional who thrives on managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic HR initiatives that align with ERM’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complex Case Management

  • Handle and resolve complex, high-risk employee relations issues with discretion and legal precision.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for People Advisory Specialists, ensuring timely and effective resolution before matters reach the Manager.

2. Quality Assurance and Case Review

  • Audit case files and resolutions to maintain consistency and compliance across HR practices.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to enhance advisory services and collaborate on process improvements.

3. Policy Development and Implementation

  • Lead the creation and updating of HR policies to reflect current legislation and best practices.
  • Stay informed on legal changes and facilitate policy roll-outs through training and workshops.

4. Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Partner with HR leadership to design and implement initiatives that support organizational objectives.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to recommend strategies for workforce engagement and satisfaction.

5. Leadership and Team Development

  • Mentor People Advisory Specialists and People Services Associates, promoting continuous learning.
  • Organize training sessions to keep the HR team aligned with industry standards.

6. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, offering expert HR advice and insights.
  • Represent HR in meetings to align case management strategies with business priorities.

7. HR Projects and Change Management

  • Lead HR Advisory projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
  • Ensure smooth communication and integration of change initiatives across the organization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Employee Relations Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex cases with tact and legal accuracy.
  • Policy & Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of employment law across EMEA and experience in policy development.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret HR data and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Track record of developing HR professionals and fostering team growth.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with all organizational levels effectively.
