Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Plant Leadership Team in alignment with the site’s long-term growth strategy.
  • Drive the Production Monitoring and Improvement Process (PMIP) daily to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of medical devices and components.
  • Achieve KPI performance through continuous improvement and implementation of the Integer Production System (IPS) standards
  • Leverage enterprise functions to support site-level objectives.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Own full P&L accountability, driving profitability (GM/AOI) and maximizing return on invested capital.
  • Partner with FP&A to develop annual financial plans using SIOP and sound business practices, including strategic investments in talent, training, and capital.
  • Deliver monthly operational performance reports and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast aligned with revenue trends and product mix.
  • Lead financial execution to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets through cost optimization and value-driven investments.
  • Support customer operations (scheduling, quoting, and service) to ensure operational alignment with commercial goals.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on business development, customer engagement, and scenario planning to accelerate time-to-profit while minimizing business disruption.

Organizational Development/Engagement: 

  • Promote a culture of transparency, inclusion and engagement through consistent, site-wide communication and cultivation of a motivating work environment where associates feel appreciated and empowered
  • Develop a positive and productive work environment where the importance of accountability is recognized and promoted.
  • Develop and execute forward-looking organizational plans informed by talent assessments and site-specific needs, including robust succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional leadership team in close collaboration with matrixed and enterprise-level partners.
  • Drive talent excellence through regular performance and talent reviews, coaching, and supporting individualized career development plans.

Strategic Planning: 

  • Define and execute long-term operational strategies across manufacturing, engineering, facilities, planning, and continuous improvement to deliver business performance and best in class products and services to customers.
  • Lead the development and execution of capital projects (inclusive of expansions)—ensuring alignment with growth objectives, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
  • Apply Hoshin and other strategic planning methodologies to align organizational goals and drive breakthrough performance.
  • Partner with commercial teams to support business development, strengthen customer relationships, and expand the opportunity pipeline.

Environmental, Health, Safety and Physical Security:

  • Lead with safety to cultivate a “safety-first” culture at all levels and departments at the site to ensure an injury and incident free workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and physical security regulations to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Oversee the resourcing, implementation, and sustainment of corporate environmental, health, safety and physical security initiatives that drive associate engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Adhere to Integer Core Value and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements (cGMP, ISO 13485).
  • Support internal and external audits, address findings and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance and quality.

Engineering

  • Ensure timely, cost-effective execution of new product introductions, in full.
  • Oversee sustaining engineering to maintain facilities and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and automation, including new technology development.

Site Execution Plan 

  • Develop and execute the site plans aligned with business strategy and Hoshin planning.
  • Contribute to the long-range planning (LRP), ensuring capacity, capital, and footprint plans support growth.
  • Advance manufacturing technologies and automation to maintain global competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Growth and Commercial teams to pursue new business aligned with site capabilities.
  • Proactively plan for, communicate and lead change based on operational or company-wide adjustments to strategy or execution.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management

  • Drive alignment to strategic, operational, and financial plans using cross-functional SIOP process.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely material availability.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce cost, lead times and inventory while ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Drive site cross functional execution of proactive supply chain risk mitigation actions (Last Time Buy tracking and risk mitigations, supplier risk assessment and mitigation).

Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with Commercial and Growth teams to support strategic business reviews, pipeline development, and customer alignment initiatives.
  • Lead customer-facing activities at manufacturing site including visits, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and report-outs to showcase performance and strengthen partnerships.
  • Proactively manage and resolve customer escalations, ensuring timely communication, root cause resolution, and long-term satisfaction.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

  • Build relationships with local government and community stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local laws

Education & Experience:

Minimum Education:

  • Technical or business Bachelor’s degree, with Master’s degree(s) in business or technical field desired.

Minimum Experience:

  • 10-12 years complex high-tech, high mix manufacturing leadership experience in a regulated environment that afforded exposure to all areas of plant operations; previous medical device experience preferable, international experience desirable.  P&L management in a technical environment required.
  • Must have held an active operations leadership role within the past two years.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Lean manufacturing, with the ability to articulate detailed knowledge of Lean principles, standard work leadership, and real-world implementation examples.
  • Strong belief in and understanding of leading complex organizations through standard work methodologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering results, including defining expectations, instilling ownership, and ensuring operational standardization. 
  • Ability to build and develop high performing teams and create a robust talent pipeline to ensure leadership continuity over time.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments, and ensuring that programs/processes are fully integrated and effectively deployed.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation, with proven P&L accountability.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and production planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards including FDA cGMP, ISO 13485:2003, 510(k), and other medical device compliance requirements.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute a long-term vision for the facility. 
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to engage directly with clients, influence decisions, resolve issues, align stakeholders, and deliver tailored solutions that are effectively integrated and deployed. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Confident and effective communicator, both written and verbal, in individual and group settings.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex technical information.
  • Ability to differentiate talent, create a robust talent pipeline, and make effective selection and placement decisions.
  • Skill in managing/accelerating change, including managing ambiguity, encouraging calculated risks, and promoting courage.

If located outside US:

  • Strong understanding of local cultural norms (or demonstrated agility in working with and navigating other cultures)
  • Understands how to navigate the local labor context as applicable; trade unions, works councils or consultative committees.
  • Industry body, trade union (as applicable) and local government networks or demonstrable ability in developing networks.
  • Fluent spoken and written English essential.

Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. Employees at the level of Director and above are eligible to receive stock awards as part of their annual compensation package. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
