Role Overview

We are looking for a talented .NET developer who has experience in developing backend APIs using ASP.NET Core, PostgreSQL databases, and webpages using Angular or React. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining scalable and reliable applications that meet the business requirements and follow the best practices. You will also collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers and product managers in an agile environment, as well as supporting the quality of our engineering work across multiple codebases and operational processes.

  • Working knowledge and experience with software development best practices and standards

  • Experience of working and helping to create design systems

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

 

Who you are

  • A solid foundation in software engineering – bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of experience.

  • Domain of software engineering best practices and patterns like DDD, TDD, GRASP, SOLID.

  • Full-stack .NET web development experience, including knowledge of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI Specification, and ASP.NET Core features and components.

  • Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgresSQL.

  • Effective unit, integration, user acceptance testing using libraries like xUnit and Specflow.

  • Experience in working with highly scalable, available systems and good understanding of application monitoring, application metrics and centralized logging tools like Datadog.

  • Experience in AWS cloud and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience in implementing and developing using automated CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions.

  • Experienced in taking ownership of tasks, commitments, quality, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Excellent knowledge in TypeScript

  • Experience in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue

  • Detail-oriented team player with a desire to work in a small team and mentor team members when necessary.

  • Able to efficiently break down problems and leverage business resources to establish a clear path toward customer value.

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate intent to other developers through code.
