We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team in New York. You’ll be part of an innovative, fast-paced engineering organization that thrives on solving complex problems and building exceptional digital experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who loves turning product and design ideas into clean, maintainable code and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Architect and implement scalable, performant web applications using modern technologies.
Build responsive, adaptive UI experiences that work across devices and browsers.
Ensure high-quality, maintainable code through thoughtful design, testing, and code reviews.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to plan, design, and deliver new features.
Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure stability and user satisfaction.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices within the team.
Stay current with emerging tools and frameworks and bring fresh ideas to the table.
5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Deep experience with React and Next.js
Skilled in styling modern web apps using Tailwind and component libraries like Reshaped UI
Comfortable with API integration, state management, and component-based architecture
Experience with Git, modern CI/CD workflows, and Agile development practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of Node.js is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
The annual base salary for the Senior Frontend Engineer is expected to be between $170,000 - $190,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
