We are seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to join the Software Engineering FP&A Organization based out of Santa Clara campus. The role requires high-level analytical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. As an integral member of the Finance team, our organization’s overarching responsibilities are to provide the highest caliber of relevant financial and business analysis that is both insightful and measurable, enabling effective decision-making at all levels of the company and improving our financial performance. It is a visible role within Finance for an energetic individual who thrives on inspiring change and impacting the business in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role requires exceptional analytical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. Your overarching responsibilities will be to build and maintain a strong collaborative partnership with Engineering and Marketing leaders to strategically align roadmaps and manage the financial planning of this organization. This is a highly visible role for an energetic individual who can function in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build strong partnership with Engineering and Marketing leaders supporting global investments to ensure that spending is aligned to key objectives and initiatives. Investments include headcount, contractors, software and hardware infrastructure, tools, and licenses.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the robotics industry and the company to analyze investments, identify cost-effective options, assess project priorities, and provide solutions for the business.

  • Prepare forecasts for investments, headcount, operating and capital expenditures and analyze quarterly variances to forecasts by identifying associated risks and opportunities.

  • Establish efficient processes for monthly and quarterly close and performance reporting. Implement practices for budget management and investment optimization.

  • Improve processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in analysis, forecasting, and modeling preferably within global high-tech.

  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills which allows effective communication with both Finance and Engineering leaders.

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced financial modeling, with ability to build and convey business insight.

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in teams to identify and solve problems collectively.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Solid business judgment with ability to think strategically and plan effectively; be hands on, accurate, with attention to details, and results oriented.

  • SAP ECC, S4 and BPC, Power BI, or SQL skills

  • Strong understanding of industry technology and market dynamics in areas directly related to NVIDIA’s products, research and development.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 100,000 USD - 161,000 USD for Level 3, and 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
