About the Role:
Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain an updated supplier database.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards while driving process efficiency.
Prepare and issue purchase orders/work orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies in quality, quantity, or timelines.
Monitor inventory levels in coordination with stores/operations teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Drive cost-saving initiatives through vendor negotiations, alternate sourcing, and long-term rate contracts.
Support in contract management including drafting, reviewing, and renewal of supplier agreements.
Maintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, and ensure timely documentation for audits.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams for budget alignment and timely vendor payments.
Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new suppliers to support strategic procurement decisions.
