What is your impact?
Are you the expert who sees the full picture before the first shovel hits the ground? We’re looking for a Senior Estimator / Construction SME who brings precision, insight, and leadership to complex infrastructure projects—from renewable energy to rail electrification. You’ll shape winning bids, guide strategic decisions, and be the go-to authority on cost, scope, and feasibility.
What will you do?
Lead the development of comprehensive cost estimates for EPC substation projects—including BESS, AIS, GIS, FACTS, and rail electrification—ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with project goals.
Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements to produce detailed quantity take-offs and pricing models.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate scope, identify gaps, and build realistic, data-driven cost models.
Build and maintain robust cost databases, unit rate libraries, and historical benchmarks to support consistent and scalable estimating practices.
Review and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope completeness, compliance with requirements, and market competitiveness.
Contribute to bid strategy development, including risk analysis, value engineering, and pricing optimization to enhance win probability.
Participate in client-facing proposal reviews and presentations, offering both technical and commercial insights to strengthen positioning.
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing estimating tools, templates, and workflows to boost efficiency, accuracy, and team productivity.
Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering technical growth and promoting a culture of excellence within the estimating team.
Who you are?
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in power infrastructure or industrial EPC projects.
Strong understanding of electrical substations, civil works, and utility-scale construction practices.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Sage Estimating, or similar).
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Experience with international projects and multicultural teams is a plus.
