At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.
More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.
Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.
Too Good To Go was named in FastCompany’s March 2022 list of the World's Most Innovative Companies, and was honoured to be included in TIME’s list of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2022.
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Enterprise Account Executive - New Business to join the UK & Ireland team at Too Good To Go.
Your Mission
As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, your mission is to lead the acquisition of new retail and grocery partners across the UK and Ireland through a targeted, relationship-driven and solutions-oriented approach.
You will be responsible for designing and executing a repeatable, scalable model for retail partnerships, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate Too Good To Go’s growth in both markets.
Based in the UK and reporting directly to the Country Director, UK & Ireland, you will operate as a senior individual contributor, leading complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end.
Your Role
- Lead the acquisition of new large retail and grocery partnerships through a consultative, value-driven approach.
- Develop a scalable, repeatable sales model tailored to the UK and Irish markets to deliver sustainable, long-term growth.
- Own the full business development lifecycle - from market mapping and prospecting to pitch, negotiation, and contract signature.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (C-suite, commercial, operations, finance, sustainability) in leading retail organisations.
- Demonstrate executive presence and influence across complex, matrixed organisations to secure buy-in and alignment at multiple levels.
- Act as the face of Too Good To Go within the UK retail community - representing our mission and proposition at key industry forums, events, and partner meetings.
- Stay close to market developments, competitor moves, and regulatory trends to anticipate and shape partnership opportunities.
- Lead high-level, strategic negotiations that balance commercial success with Too Good To Go’s mission and values.
- Partner cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, and marketing teams to build tailored solutions that meet retailer needs and drive measurable impact.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and performance tracking of all enterprise opportunities.
- Create financial projections and business cases that inform internal planning and external commercial proposals.
Requirements
- Extensive experience closing complex, high-value enterprise partnerships - ideally within SaaS, technology, or large food retail environments - with a strong track record of winning, structuring, and scaling strategic collaborations.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with persistence, resilience, and strategic focus.
- Demonstrated executive presence and credibility, with the ability to represent Too Good To Go confidently at board and C-level meetings.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify win-win outcomes that drive measurable business impact.
- Skilled in creating financial projections, business cases, and commercial proposals to inform internal planning and partner negotiations.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups and functions (Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sustainability).
- Highly preferred: Understanding of the UK retail and grocery landscape, including key players, commercial levers, and industry trends.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
