Responsibilities:

Advanced knowledge of track estimation techniques with Kalman Filters / Least Squares approaches.
Advanced knowledge of Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) sensor detection capabilities, measurement characteristics, and interfaces with sensor fusion algorithms.
Provide support to performance trade studies and testing of candidate sensor fusion algorithms.
Contribute to day-to-day Government led algorithm concepts team efforts, including weekly status reports; participating in weekly team meetings and periodic reviews; addressing action items as assigned; supporting risk mitigation activities and providing status and recommendations on issues.

Test and Evaluation (T&E) Support
Research and support the coordination, planning, and execution of evaluation activities to include:
Performing assessment and integration testing, site acceptance testing, and other evaluation activities. Coordinate testing, schedules, and related documentation.
Develop test and evaluation documentation, which include testing plans, laboratory testing documents, new technology evaluation documents, usability engineering documents and laboratory testing.
Perform data collection and analysis using MatLab and other lab tools/test equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI clearance
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a STEM related field of study (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry).
15 -20 years of DoD or related Industry experience required, knowledge in National Missile Defense and networked sensor systems, BMD Weapons Systems and operations.
Work will be on-site Dahlgren VA, local and CONUS travel is possible.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in same disciplines desired.
