Our Electric Power Systems team within the Power and Controls is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team) Leader to play a pivotal role in driving new product development. What You Will Do 

  • Create, track, and deliver on program plans, including budgets and schedules, ensuring projects stay on target from start to finish. 

  • Collaborate with management, suppliers, customers, and technical design teams to share updates, address concerns, and drive alignment across all stakeholders. 

  • Guide design discussions and present solutions to customers, demonstrating technical expertise and strategic thinking. 

  • Participate in engineering investigations to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness to prevent recurrence. 

  • Adhere to and contribute to engineering standard work, continuously improving processes and procedures. 

  • Respond to supplier or plant site issues, analyze operational or customer challenges, and implement solutions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience 

Qualifications We Prefer  

  • Proven experience in the design, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems. 

  • Strong background in structural and thermal analysis, with proficiency in 3D CAD/design software. 

  • Skilled in Excel, including advanced features such as VBA and Solver. 

  • Experience in requirements management using tools like DOORS. 

  • Familiarity with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) for tracking program performance and metrics.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
