Our Electric Power Systems team within the Power and Controls is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team) Leader to play a pivotal role in driving new product development. What You Will Do

Create, track, and deliver on program plans, including budgets and schedules, ensuring projects stay on target from start to finish.

Collaborate with management, suppliers, customers, and technical design teams to share updates, address concerns, and drive alignment across all stakeholders.

Guide design discussions and present solutions to customers, demonstrating technical expertise and strategic thinking.

Participate in engineering investigations to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness to prevent recurrence.

Adhere to and contribute to engineering standard work, continuously improving processes and procedures.

Respond to supplier or plant site issues, analyze operational or customer challenges, and implement solutions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

Proven experience in the design, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems.

Strong background in structural and thermal analysis, with proficiency in 3D CAD/design software.

Skilled in Excel, including advanced features such as VBA and Solver.

Experience in requirements management using tools like DOORS.

Familiarity with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) for tracking program performance and metrics.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
