THE ROLE:
The Senior Director, Legal & Business Affairs, Content Group-NY, is responsible for leading the negotiation and drafting of agreements for unscripted programming talent across A+E Networks and the Factual Studio, including on-air “A list” talent, executive producers, showrunners, and consultants. This role exists to provide legal guidance in support of A+E Global Media’s unscripted content initiatives, ensuring that talent deals are structured to align with the company’s strategic and operational goals. In addition, the Senior Director will collaborate with programming executives as well as other members of the Legal & Business Affairs group in negotiating and drafting development and production agreements for unscripted programming. The position plays a key role in supporting A+E’s content creation efforts through effective deal-making and risk management.
