The Cyber Threat Intelligence team provides strategic, operational & tactical intelligence for consumption by Cyber Security and the Group, in alignment with our threat priorities, to enhance and focus defensive efforts to relevant threats. We ensure that cyber threat intelligence produced is timely, relevant, accurate, and actionable by our stakeholders, and maintain knowledge of changes in intelligence collection and analysis practice.
Your Role
As a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst - AI, you will play a crucial role in contributing to safeguarding practices for our customers, colleagues and communities against known and unknown cyber threats.
Part of a world-class motivated and highly skilled team of intelligence specialists, you will be involved in researching, deciphering and understanding the cyber threat landscape, and utilise leading technologies to deliver actionable insights and capabilities that drive continuous improvement to our cyber protection posture. Key responsibilities of this role may require you to:
Enhance the team's cyber threat intelligence AI capability by integrating advanced machine learning algorithms and analytical tools to proactively identify and mitigate emerging threats.
Support uplift of reporting and threat insights through AI by leveraging advanced analytics and data visualisation techniques.
Assist in streamlining threat intelligence processing, and improving the accuracy and efficiency of threat intelligence dissemination to key stakeholders.
Understand and appropriately identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), vulnerabilities, and attack patterns to deliver quality and well researched intelligence products and reporting on findings, including threat advisories, briefings and presentations.
Work with our Cyber Defence Operation teams during an incident, providing real time intelligence support, as well as working with alongside to uplift our overall security posture based on intelligence insights.
Your Skills and Experience
Experience in Cyber threat intelligence (preferred) and/or operational security roles like threat hunting, cyber detection, or SOC.
Understanding of cyber-attack stages, common adversarial TTPs and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Expertise in navigating complex data and gathered intelligence to identify potential cyber threats.
Competence with security technologies (e.g., SIEM, Threat Intelligence Platform) and their integration within a cyber technology stack.
Highly developed, clear concise and effective written and verbal communication skill, with an understanding of audience relevant delivery.
Demonstrable competence in engaging and managing multi-disciplinary stakeholders effectively to drive key strategic outcomes in a timely manner.
Knowledge of concepts in AI for cyber defence and intelligence programs, products and integrations is highly desirable.
Competence in automation tools and techniques to continually improve and streamline processes, desirable though not essential.
