Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) at CommBank is responsible for delivering an integrated and consistent approach to the Group’s marketing, external and internal affairs, communications, sustainability, community investment and social impact.
The Technology Corporate Affairs team is part of the broader Corporate Affairs function and is responsible for delivering proactive, impactful and cohesive communications plans to protect and enhance the Group’s reputation and position CommBank as a leader in Technology and AI.
Do work that matters
As a Senior Communications Manager in the Technology Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for internal communication and employee advocacy, from planning to implementation.
On any given day, you will:
Develop and execute employee communications strategies and campaigns to align and engage employees with our Technology strategy and our ambition to build a workforce for the future, with global skills.
Work with the General Manager and Business Partner – Technology to support the Group CIO and senior Technology leaders on communications initiatives that support the Technology strategy and engage our people.
Embed AI tooling and insights into how we plan, create and deliver impactful communications that engage our Technology team.
Provide insights and informed advice to senior leaders on leader-led employee communications.
Work with colleagues across Corporate Affairs to ensure a coordinated approach to internal announcements and campaigns.
Establish campaign or project performance indicators and reporting relating to communications activities to drive and track performance.
We’d love to hear from people who have:
Significant experience in corporate or employee communications or an agency role developing, implementing and delivering internal communication campaigns and activities for a large business.
Experience in leading internal communications, people and culture communications programs.
Sound understanding of AI tools and the role they can play in enhancing communications.
Experience in providing strategic counsel to senior business stakeholders. Strong business acumen combined with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in or a strong interest in providing communications support to a technology or operations team.
A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, communications, journalism or a relevant discipline.
