Job Description

Position:

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Brookfield Public Securities Group Investor Relations & Sales Support Team.

The Senior Associate will work across all asset classes that PSG specializes in (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables and Credit) and stretch across the fundraising process (direct client communications, research, client / prospect due diligence). This role will give early exposure to institutional fundraising within public markets.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the institutional investor relations and sales teams in their day-day client relationship efforts

  • Understanding client reporting requirements / executing on deliverables in collaboration with the Product Specialist and Marketing Teams

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Brookfield’s product offerings, systems and processes to support client relationships

  • Ensure timely client deliverables – client reporting, presentation materials

  • Understand and interpret business processes, workflows, and systems to identify solutions or opportunities for automation.

  • Help to coordinate meeting prep and post meeting follow up

  • Support all aspects of client/prospect communication, from routine day-to-day inquiries to strategic business communications

  • Assist with the client onboarding process to allow for smooth and efficient new client investments in separately managed accounts, commingled vehicles, mutual funds and private funds.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the reporting platform by helping with automation and collaborating with teams across the organization

  • Where appropriate, directly communicating with clients to support their due diligence requests.

  • Conducting industry research and client-specific research.

  • Compiling detailed pre-meeting reports for each client/prospect meeting involving Brookfield investment professionals

  • Detailed research and analysis, leveraging market data and other sources, with the aim of creating targeted prospective investor campaigns and targeted marketing outreach

  • Monitoring industry press for information relating to our respective prospects and competitors.

  • In conjunction with PSG Marketing, create and manage product-specific marketing materials, investor presentations, case studies, fact sheets and other documents.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 3-6 years of experience in client relationship management, investor relations or institutional business development

  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred or must be obtained

  • Ability to deliver clear, effective communication and take responsibility for deliverables

  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others to achieve objectives

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
