Your roles and responsibilities will be to:
Lead the design and delivery of EDB’s onboarding programmes, including the Associate Bootcamp under EDB’s Associate Programme (learn more here) to ensure every new EDB hire will ramp up quickly and integrate well into EDB’s mission, culture, and ways of working.
Conduct learning needs assessments to identify capability gaps and performance challenges and ensure learning interventions deliver measurable impact and align with organisational goals.
Partner with subject matter experts from business units to deliver key in-house training and collaborate with external learning partners to design and implement interventions that develop core and functional competencies.
Design, develop or procure centralised learning programmes that build competencies across divisions (e.g fostering relationships and influencing others, data and digital capabilities etc), ensuring relevance to EDB’s strategic priorities.
Develop processes, toolkits, and feedback mechanisms that empower divisions to take ownership of the onboarding and training of new hires to their divisions.
Facilitate learning sessions and engagement initiatives that reinforce a high-performance, growth-oriented, and collaborative learning culture across EDB.
Manage and curate digital learning assets on the Whole-of-Government learning platform (LEARN), enhancing discoverability, engagement, and learner experience through data insights and modern instructional design.
[What we are looking for]
We are looking for a resourceful and innovative learning and development professional who can design and implement impactful solutions across talent development initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering meaningful learning experiences for EDB officers, focusing on onboarding, early-career development, and organisation-wide learning initiatives.
As the work in EDB is fast-paced and the role involves the delivery of outcomes across multiple initiatives, the candidate will need to be strong in time management and able to prioritize work well.
At least 2 years of experience in Learning & Development and/or Organisation Development including programme design, delivery and administration of learning interventions and/or organisational initiatives
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple programmes concurrently, including coordination of logistics, budgets, and vendors
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with experience conducting learning needs analysis and capability gap identification to inform evidence-based learning strategies and interventions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with proven ability to collaborate across business units and external partners to co-create impactful learning experiences
Good attention to detail with experience in data analysis and presenting insights through reports and presentations to inform decision-making
