What is the opportunity?

The SIAI Digital Development team is constantly undertaking complex development initiatives within Global Cyber Security. In this role, you will be a full-stack developer within the SIAI Digital Development team, responsible for designing and implementing software solutions across multiple platforms. Our Digital Development team designs, architects, and builds bespoke solutions to support forward-thinking and industry leading initiatives from JSOC’s Cyber & Digital Threat Hunting, Cyber Analytics, and Adversary Emulation teams. The role involves coordination, development, communication and execution to ensure objectives are accomplished on time and meeting intents.

What will you do?
 

  • You’ll help build/maintain the systems, products, and tools that will be responsible for delivering solutions that intersect the financial and cybercrime spaces
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable software solutions using Python and Python frameworks
  • Drive cloud initiatives by designing and optimizing solution on platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Mentor junior engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and encourage technical growth within the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while monitoring and improving the overall systems health
  • Establish strong working relationships across various business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.

What do you need to succeed?


Must-have

  • 7+ years of experience in software development or engineering, with a deep understanding of system design and architecture
  • Advanced expertise in Python development, including design patterns, unit testing, debugging, and frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
  • Strong experience in cloud (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL), web frameworks, and RESTful API development
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting technical requirements, with a strong focus on clarity and precision

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in working with Frontend framework such as Vue.js and related front-end tech stack
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GIT
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like ELK or Grafana
  • Understanding of security best practices and implementing secure coding techniques
  • Experience with event-driven architecture.
