Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Finance and Portfolio Analytics supports Comcast Ventures’ financial operations and portfolio management by combining portfolio analysis, valuation, and financial reporting with operational support for the investment team. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, a solid finance background, and an interest in learning about venture capital investing and fund operations. This position reports to the Finance Lead at Comcast Ventures.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Portfolio Analytics & Valuation
- Manage cash movements related to fund operations, including capital calls, investment funding, and receipt of proceeds from portfolio exits and distributions.
- Determine investment valuations consistent with valuation policy, including quarterly marks, impairments, and exit modeling.
- Monitor portfolio valuations, identifying stale or material changes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Conduct diligence on potential follow-on financings, secondary sales, and public position liquidations to inform investment decisions.
- Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics (e.g., MOIC, IRR, TVPI, DPI).
- Portfolio Management & Reporting
- Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting across multiple investment portfolios.
- Present performance updates to key internal stakeholders, highlighting intra-quarter portfolio activity, performance trends, and relevant venture capital market insights.
- Partner closely and communicate effectively with Comcast Legal, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams.
- Oversee data integrity and system performance, driving process improvements and operational enhancements to strengthen financial reporting and analysis.
- Operational Finance & Investment Support
- Maintain monthly and annual forecast and budget models to support the team’s operational finance needs.
- Serve as the finance business partner to Comcast Ventures and Comcast Startup Engagement teams, overseeing vendor management, accounts payable, office operations, and general financial support.
- Opportunity to support key strategic finance initiatives across Strategic Development group.
- Collaborate with the investment team on financial modeling, scenario and return analyses, and ad hoc strategic evaluations to support investment decision-making.

Compensation
Primary Location Pay Range: $84,657.54 - $126,986.31
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
