Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with local accounting firms and U.S. teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial statements. 

  • Maintain compliance with Free Trade Zone Regime regulations. 

  • Support quarterly and year-end audit processes, including Free Trade Zone audits. 

  • Prepare and review financial statements and internal reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. 

  • Monitor budget vs. actual reports, identify variances, and provide recommendations. 

  • Propose and implement improvements to accounting procedures and systems. 

  • Maintain documentation and evidence to support internal control procedures. 

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure transparent communication and financial alignment. 

  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as required. 

Job Requirements 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles. 

  • Experience working in a shared services environment. 

  • Demonstrated experience with Free Trade Zone Regime compliance. 

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit support. 

  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or C1). 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in real estate accounting. 

  • Familiarity with Yardi or other accounting software platforms. 

  • Previous experience working with international teams or stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. 

  • Proficiency in accounting systems and tools; Yardi is a plus.
