Job Description:

Summary: 

Clover Park, the spring training home of the New York Mets, is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the ballpark’s security team. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for leading staff, coordinating event security, and ensuring the safety of all guests, players, employees, and property. This role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and the ability to collaborate with both internal staff and external public safety partners. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise, schedule, and direct a team of security specialists during games, practices, and special events 

  • Oversee daily security operations, including access control, patrols, and enforcement of stadium rules 

  • Provide on-site leadership during incidents and emergencies; coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS when needed 

  • Train, coach, and evaluate security personnel to maintain high performance and professional standards 

  • Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to review assignments, safety procedures, and incident response plans 

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, shift reports, and personnel activity 

  • Assist in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and emergency action plans 

  • Serve as a point of contact for guest concerns and provide professional customer service solutions 

  • Support the Director of Security with investigations, audits, and special projects 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred 

  • Valid Florida Class “D” Security Officer License (or ability to obtain before start date) 

  • Minimum 2–3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role 

  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to lead a team in high-pressure situations 

  • Working knowledge of security operations, crowd management, and emergency response procedures 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during events and baseball season 

  • Professional, reliable, and able to serve as a role model for staff
