POSITION:                     Security Manager

DEPARTMENT:             Production

REPORTS TO:               Technical Director

FLSA STATUS:              Exempt

Summary

This position will be responsible for the overall management of security services with emphasis on service to events, Legends Global employees and general security issues within each facility. Will manage and oversee venue contracted security services personnel. Will be responsible for the development and implementation of operational policies and security-related procedures. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administers all public safety related policies, rules, and procedures, and directs subordinates in carrying out day-to-day public safety related duties. 
  • Supervises and Manges all aspects of Contract Security personnel.
  • Schedules Police ,Fire and Security for Events in cooperation with Production team.
  • Works with the Production team to set security calls for events.
  • Manages Access Control Systems.
  • Manges Security Camera Systems.
  • Manges OpenGate Screening procedures.
  • Conducts routine property walks.
  • Responds to emergency situations.
  • Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.
  • Secures the safety of all individuals on the premises.
  • Appropriately deals with "unruly" people.
  • Works with local Fire and Police Departments to secure off-duty details.
  • Works independently, and judges and assesses situations for immediate response.

Education and/or Experience          

  • A degree in Criminal Justice is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years Security management experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required

  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management

  • Some computer knowledge

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Certificate, License and registration in security related field is a preferred.
