Security Controller Role - Oradea

We are seeking a highly experienced and trustworthy Security Controller/Specialist to manage and maintain all corporate security policies, procedures, and systems for our critical operations in Oradea, Romania.

This is a critical, high-impact role where you will be directly responsible for security in relation to classified information and sensitive government contracts. If you are highly motivated, customer-focused, and ready to drive best-practice security standards, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures aligning with government regulations (e.g., ORNISS/SRI Security Policy) and corporate standards.

  • Risk Management: Conduct security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and proactively mitigate threats across personnel, physical, and information security.

  • Vetting & Training: Oversee the security vetting process (e.g., SC clearance) for staff accessing classified information and ensure all employees receive appropriate security training.

  • System Oversight: Manage the functionality and effectiveness of all security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Visitor Management Systems.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the key contact, liaising with government stakeholders and security officials to maintain required certification and support compliance questionnaires.

You will have: 

  • Significant Experience in security management, including developing policies and managing security systems.

  • Expert Knowledge of government security policies, protective marking schemes, and industry standards (e.g., ORNISS/SRI, ISF, INFOSEC).

  • Technical Proficiency with physical security systems and a strong understanding of IT security, data protection (DPA/GDPR), and comms security.

  • Required Clearance: Currently hold or be eligible for a high level of security clearance (at least SC).

  • Key Skills:

    • Excellent Communication & Influence: Ability to engage and brief staff at all levels with a "Can Do" attitude.

    • Highly Organised: Proficient at workload management, prioritization, and maintaining detailed documentation.

    • Leadership: Experience managing security awareness and driving appropriate risk control behaviour.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISM or CISSP.

  • DISA Accreditation (depending on the specific role).
