Security Analyst - Roofs & Affliates

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our Security for Roofs & Affiliates  team. As the Security Analyst and primary focal point within Airbus DSFE, you will be responsible for driving the security posture improvement lifecycle across Airbus Affiliates and "Roofs" (overseas Affiliates like Airbus India, Airbus Americas, etc.). You will manage coordination across all three Airbus Divisions, ensuring alignment with the central Airbus cybersecurity strategy and standards.
The mission is structured across three core pillars


1. Support the Assessment and Evaluate Security Posture

  • Act as a focal point for Airbus Affiliates and Roofs, establishing and maintaining regular direct contact to manage expectations and understand their specific cyber defense and compliance landscape.
  • Serve as the critical liaison between the Affiliates/Roofs and the Airbus Extended Enterprise Cybersecurity Expertise Centre (which handles technical subjects).
  • Coordinate with the DSF Extended Enterprise Expertise Center to ensure that technical security assessments, maturity evaluations (e.g., against CIS/NIST controls), and deep risk analyses are performed accurately and on time by the technical specialists for all identified affiliates, roofs, and associated products.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with regional stakeholders to gather requirements, translate complex technical findings into clear business risks and priorities, and document key findings from assessments.

2. Follow up Remediation Activities and Overall Posture Improvement

  • Proactively support Affiliates and Roofs in developing and executing their strategy to onboard, deploy, and configure Airbus-mandated core security services and defense mechanisms as part of their infrastructure modernization efforts.

  • Track and follow up on the remediation status for each identified affiliate/Roof, providing guidance to ensure smooth, timely, and effective implementation of corrective actions and security controls.

  • Liaise across Affiliates/Roofs, Product Teams, and the Governance team to establish Security Roadmaps, define and follow up on associated budgets, and manage all topics related to the overall improvement of their IM security posture.

  • Follow up, with identified Digital Security product Owners , the implementation status, from initial identification and deployment to final acceptance and handover to Entry into services.

3. Support Coordination with the Airbus Mother Company to Ensure Adherence to Standards

  • Report directly to the Cybersecurity for Roofs and Affiliates Roof Product Manager, actively supporting them in updating key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing management reports, and drafting meeting materials.

  • Ensure that all regional security projects and remediation efforts adhere to the central Airbus IM Security Standards and Governance policies.

  • As the primary affiliates focal point, capture operational experience and feedback to actively contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the global Airbus Cybersecurity Strategy.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

The successful candidate’s main tasks and accountabilities are:

  • Project Governance: Arrange regular meetings with Affiliates, Roofs, and Cybersecurity Solution owners to track deployment status and ensure all key milestones (Build and Run) are fulfilled on schedule.

  • Business Requirement: Define and document business requirements for security initiatives, ensuring they align with central Airbus security policies and best practices.

  • Problem Resolution: Identify difficulties or delays in solution deployment projects and be responsible for proposing clear, actionable mitigation and recovery plans.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Write accurate Meeting Minutes, update reports, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and project trackers when necessary.

  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and identify, document, and notify stakeholders of risks related to regional security projects, providing clear mitigation strategies to minimise disruption to the planned schedule.

  • Cyber Risk Avoidance: Actively contribute to a culture of security by providing guidance that promotes cyber risk avoidance throughout the Affiliate and Roof network.

  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage and influence diverse stakeholders across different cultural and regional boundaries to achieve security objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS


We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree specialised in Engineering, preferably with a specialisation in Digital Security/Cyber security /Information Technology.

  • Organization: Proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively in a challenging environment to drumbeat the activity and ensure progress.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in Account Management and Customer Needs Evaluation.

  • Analysis: Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Attitude: Curious and willing to learn.

  • Teamwork: Good interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively as a team player for stakeholder management and customer relationships.

  • Environment: Previous work experience in a multicultural environment is essential.

  • Language: A negotiation level of English is required; French or German would be a strong plus.

  • Cybersecurity Knowledge (Mandatory): Good knowledge of basic cybersecurity concepts is essential. At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity is required for this position.

  • Tools: Excellent command of Google Suite tools, with proven proficiency in data management and reporting using Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas).

  • Certifications (Advantage): Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Security+, Certified Cybersecurity -CC, CISM) are an additional advantage.
