Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! We are currently looking for a Search Engineer to join one of our cross-functional agile teams within the Buyer domain. The Search Platform subdomain is a platform team providing services for stream aligned teams within the Search domain. The Search Platform team currently provides 2 services to the company. We provide a Vespa search engine infrastructure suite that powers items search, search suggestions, recommendations, help center and internal search systems. The second service is Search Indexing Pipeline built on top of Apache Flink is able to process vast streams of data. In this role you will be working on these 2 services where you will help us to keep up with the Vinted growth as well enable product teams to build new features.
As our new Search Engineer you’ll also be responsible for growing our backend platform to handle an accelerating platform scale. Your main aim will be preparing our product for the challenges that lie ahead and making sure it contributes to the Vinted vision of making second-hand the first choice.

The salary range for this position is €6,542 - €8,842 gross per month.
