The role
The SAP BTP Technical Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems. This role involves optimizing ABAP on Cloud development, leveraging SAP Integration Suite, and driving cloud-native extensions. The manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven innovations, and scalable integration architectures in SAP landscapes.

What you'll bring to the team

Strong expertise in SAP BTP strategy and architecture, including side-by-side extensibility and SAP Integration Suite.
Experience in designing and implementing SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
Proven ability to lead SAP transformation projects, aligning RISE with SAP, S/4HANA, and BTP capabilities with business objectives.
Technical Skills / Systems Experience Required:
- Advanced ABAP & ABAP on Cloud development, including RAP, CAP, CDS Views, AMDP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (SAP Build, AI Core, ..).
- Hands-on experience with Clean Core projects is a plus.
Expected Key Deliverables:
- Design and implement SAP BTP extension architectures to enhance business agility and innovation.
- Develop and optimize SAP Integration Suite flows for real-time data exchange and process automation.
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven innovations in SAP solutions, enhancing automation and business intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with SAP security standards, including OAuth, JWT, and RBAC for BTP applications.
Years of Experience Required:
8+ years of experience in SAP development and integration, including 3+ years in SAP BTP & ABAP on Cloud.
Minimal Education Level Expected:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications Required (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP on HANA / ABAP on Cloud
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Integration Suite
