State Street operates a global Financial Crime Compliance program that is designed to meet its legal and regulatory requirements. The Sanctions Compliance team, which is led by the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance, is a key part of the Financial Crime Compliance program.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model in Boston/ Quincy, where you can balance work from home (1 day per week)) and office (4 days per week) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
The Sanctions Screening Operations, Projects, & Controls Analyst, Officer, role support the Sanctions Compliance Screening Alert Management and the Sanctions Compliance Screening Projects & Controls teams, which report into the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance, and is accountable for:
supporting/executing the research and disposition of real-time sanctions escalated transaction and periodic entity/name screening alerts;
supporting/executing the ad hoc investigations and analysis in support of block/reject reports, or voluntary disclosures to OFAC, of any regulatory enquiries, and as requested;
supporting/executing the reporting of block/reject reports to applicable regulatory bodies;
supporting/executing the analysis/review of current processes and recommending and implementing solutions that improve processes and mitigate risk;
supporting/executing the response to regulatory and internal audit exam requests;
supporting/executing QC and related oversight of sanctions screening alert dispositioning;
supporting/executing sanctions technology project go-live, testing, and oversight;
supporting/executing the provision, analysis, and distribution of sanctions-related metrics and governance materials; and
supporting/executing sanctions related projects and initiatives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience with focus in business, accounting, finance, criminal justice, or similar;
3+ years experience with sanctions screening operations, alert dispositioning activities, quality control/oversight activities, and/or similar compliance functions;
Salary Range:
$65 000 - $102 500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
