Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in assigned market sectors, driving the sales pipeline to achieve revenue growth.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, conducting regular reviews to identify additional business opportunities and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, logistics, and marketing to support smooth customer onboarding and the successful execution of sales strategies.
- Track and manage sales activities using CRM systems, ensuring a continuously filled and actively managed sales funnel.
- Deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue targets, customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic sales planning and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide input and feedback on improving the inside sales processes and customer experience to ensure long-term success.
** YOUR MISSION ** 🚀 – WHAT WILL YOU DO? **
The Sales Manager is responsible for contribution to the company’s growth strategy. This position will work on new “major” sales opportunities, build a sales plan for the next three years to support the commercial country strategy & growth ambition, develop a value proposition needed to support this sales plan and proactively sell the company’s services, benefits and values.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Proactively sell the company’s services, benefits and value proposition in targeted sectors within the Netherlands market.
- Conversion of new sales opportunities, incoming leads. Matching the CHEP service offers to customer requirements/needs, preparation and delivery of commercial proposals to prospects with the aim to convert them into customers.
- Collect market requirements and market data to support the development of a sales pipeline aligned with the commercial growth strategy / sectors for the Netherlands. Collection and maintenance of information on the requirements, organization, budget and preferences of potential customers
- Ensure a high number of sales visits and quickly build relationships to decision makers at customers and prospects to ensure the delivery of the sales budget for the Netherlands.
- Work closely with team members and with other internal departments to accelerate the delivery of an effective sales process using all supporting sales tools.
- Preparation, negotiation and finalization of customer contracts aligned with the commercial guidelines (profitability and asset productivity)

- 3-5 years of experience in sales role
- FMCG or Supply Chain experience is an advantage
- Fluency in Dutch and English language
