About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RVT to join our Radiation Oncology team. This position supports our Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist in delivering safe, precise, and compassionate care to our patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and assist patients for radiation therapy sessions and advanced imaging modalities, including anesthesia induction and monitoring, patient positioning, and recovery.
  • Safely monitor sedated and anesthetized patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Accurately record and verify treatment data, imaging, and patient charges within WoofWare.
  • Assist our Radiation Oncologist with appointments, collecting detailed patient histories, procedures, and patient discharges.
  • Coordinate daily schedules and communicate effectively with Medical Oncology, Surgery, and Imaging departments to support seamless case flow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and treatment accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous experience in Oncology, Anesthesia, or Imaging preferred; radiation experience is a plus (training provided).
  • Strong understanding of patient restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and technical excellence.
