Night RVN – Permanent Role | Exceptional Rota | Specialist Referral Hospital

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated referral team.
This permanent role offers an enviable 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota, providing the ideal balance between professional challenge and personal time. We anticipate high interest in this position!
Shift Details:
7-night blocks, Monday night to Monday morning
Rotating shift pattern: 6pm–6am and 7pm–7am (alternating each working block)
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll take a lead role in the nursing care of our hospitalised patients across general wards and HDU, working closely with our specialist teams.
Each shift brings a diverse caseload, including:
Orthopaedics
Soft Tissue Surgery
Neurology
Internal Medicine
Dermatology & Oncology
You’ll deliver advanced inpatient care, collaborate with fellow nurses, clinicians and anaesthetists, and ensure gold-standard continuity of care overnight.
What We’re Looking For:
A confident, proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)
ECC experience is desirable but not essential — full support and mentorship provided
A nurse who takes pride in excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork
