About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant (Assistant Vice President) with 2+ years of experience in automating data sourcing, sampling, loading, and reporting processes to support risk analytics. This is an individual contributor role focused on delivering data-driven insights and analytical solutions for high-priority business initiatives.
This position is part of the CL CRO CAnDO Reporting team, which supports a broad range of unsecured Consumer Lending products—including Cards, Co-Brand Cards, Retail Services, Personal Loans, Flex, Small Business, Auto, Home Lending, and Merchant Services.
In this role, you will:
Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management
Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues
Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests
Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting,
Statistics, Economics or Business
Expertise in data visualization principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of data structures, data models and ETL processes.
Proficiency with other software and/or programming languages and tools (SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Viya, Unix scripting, Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, etc.).
Good knowledge on Unsecured Consumer lending products - Cards, Co-Brand, Retail and Personal loans.
Good knowledge of Acquisitions, Account management and Collections functions on Unsecured Lending products.
Ability to work with large databases and process flow through complex logic or merging algorithm.
Complex query writing experience based on multiple data source requirements.
Understanding of control automation.
Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment while staying focused on business objectives.
Ability to summarize findings and explain in plain language for a broad audience.
Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Prior experience in similar credit risk reporting role with hands on experience working on Credit Cards and Loans products for US market, requires strong domain knowledge on Credit Cards and Loans.
Good understanding of Autosys automation tool, coordinate with execution team for setting up or updating the Job schedules
Monitor Job schedule in automation tool, perform route cause analysis and fix the Job failures within given SLA’s
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment having ability to lead project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Operates with a sense of urgency, particularly towards deadlines, audit, and deliverables
AI-Driven Solutioning & Automation
Proven ability to develop and implement AI-based automation to enhance data accuracy and reduce manual effort across reporting and risk analytics workflows.
Experience leveraging Generative AI to extract actionable insights, automate report generation, and support strategic decision-making in risk analytics.
Executive-Level Reporting & Presentation
Demonstrated success in creating executive-level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into strategic imperatives for senior stakeholders.

Apply knowledge of unsecured Consumer Lending Products
Leverage expertise in Acquisition, Account Management, Collections, and Loss Forecasting models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and India to gather requirements and deliver insights.
Work with credit/product groups and external vendors to manage new account decisions.
Strategically consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Partner with U.S. stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
Support report redesign, KPI automation, and integration of advanced tools.
Prioritize work effectively, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines independently.
