RETAIL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Fixed term contract starting ASAP until end of 2026
ABOUT THE JOB
In the context of accelerating Retail ambitions and the development of omnichannel strategies, the Europe Fragrance & Beauty entity is striving for operational excellence to support Boutique activities and deliver a seamless client experience at every touchpoint. Within the Europe Fragrance & Beauty Operations Department, you will join the Retail Operations team to support to support the efficient running of boutiques across Europe and the Middle East.
Our role focuses on:
Product supply and ensuring smooth flows between the Supply Chain and points of sale
Digital and IT tools that support the client experience and the smooth running of boutiques (checkout, stock management, service booking, reporting, etc.)
Monitoring of services and operational standards: uniforms, maintenance, Retail norms and best practices
Coordination of Retail projects across Europe & the Middle East to ensure harmonization of practices and operational performance across the network
Retail Operations do not cover marketing or visual merchandising topics.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
The Retail Operations Coordinator combines coordination, project support, and user assistance, contributing both to the daily performance of boutiques and to the rollout of key Retail initiatives.
Your main responsibilities:
Boutique Openings & Retail Operations
• Support Markets in preparing boutique openings, transfers, or renovations, in close collaboration with the relevant Europe teams
• Coordinate the operational preparations at the Europe level: development of timelines, task tracking, identification of dependencies with other teams, system and tool configuration and activation
• Provide support to boutiques during the first weeks following opening to ensure a smooth launch
Projects
• Contribute to the deployment of the new POS system and other Retail digital tools (transactional tool, appointment booking, uniform ordering)
• Participate in user testing phases, process documentation, and user guide creation
• Support markets during rollouts and collect field feedback to drive continuous improvement of tools and processes
Retail Support & Continuous Improvement
• Serve as a key point of contact for Markets and their boutiques on daily operational matters
• Track and resolve incidents in collaboration with central teams (IT, Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of procedures and updating of operational documentation

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
● 1 to 3 years of experience in Retail operations, Retail coordination, or project support, ideally in a luxury or premium environment
● Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
● Analytical, structured, and results-oriented profile
● Comfortable in a dynamic and multicultural environment, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
● Curiosity, rigor, and a desire to learn within a constantly evolving Retail ecosystem
● Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
