What you’ll do 

 

The Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including process management, project delivery, supplier management, resource planning and allocation, and profitability. Working closely with the Executive Creative Director, Client Manager, and Finance Director, the Resource Manager will be in charge of ensuring successful project delivery across the business. By balancing strategic and creative goals with time and budget constraints, the Resource Manager will identify the best solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of our design work, as well as pinpointing and developing the best talent. Additionally, the Resource Manager will play a key role in fostering a culture of change and promoting positivity and efficiency.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage various project aspects such as scope, risk, schedule, budget, and communications from both personal and management perspectives.
  • Work with account and creative leadership to accurately define project scope for quality and efficient delivery.
  • Build relationships with freelancers ensuring we have a diverse pool of creative talent including production and digital
  • Work with ECDs, Creative Directors and Design Directors to identify gaps in our skill set, and recruit and develop people in line with our needs.
  • Monitor budget spending to ensure it stays within agreed limits.
  • Ensure that statements of work are written and delivered with the necessary thoroughness and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the admin for creative freelancers – issue service agreements, set up timesheet user access and raise POs in line with SOX and company requirements.
  • Ensuring extensive knowledge of various Landor studios core competencies and integral for promoting cross-selling of services where appropriate.

 

What you’ll need 

 

  • Extensive experience in a large, fast-paced creative agency that deals with print, digital, and complex multichannel project delivery.
  • Possess a wide network of reliable freelance creative resources to enhance resources within the existing Landor freelance network.
  • Knowledge and skills to balance objectives related to cost, scheduling, creativity, technical aspects, and quality.
  • Familiarity with profit and loss calculations and agency financial management.
  • Confidence in presenting and negotiating, as well as discussing the benefits and risks associated with project delivery.
