Job Summary

Responsible for providing assistance in equalizing line construction work, making more efficient use of the workforce both internal and external throughout the Distribution region, and managing adherence to the annual work plan, Reviews the work plan and total available workforce hours across the region. Collaborates with others on a weekly basis to determine if and where resources need to be moved. Validates job priorities and assists in allocation of resources in order to equalize work. This position will work closely with the District Line Coordinators, the contractor coordinators, the scheduler and the Distribution System Supervisor to account for all crews and work plan adherence.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide assistance in planning the movement of Internal crews within and across District boundaries, and the use of contract crews as necessary in order to equalize the workload.
  • Make more efficient use of the workforce throughout the Distribution region and manage adherence to the work plan.
  • Assist in development of resource plans and evaluating the economic cost benefits of utilizing internal versus external crews on various jobs.
  • Analyze backlog hours and available workforce hours across the region and determine if and where resources need to be moved to equalize workload and manage adherence to the work plan.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Work Management DSS (WM DSS), Customer Design Supervisor (CDS) and Manager Distribution System (MDS); to develop and maintain updates to the annual construction and engineering work plans.
  • Manage Rental Equipment in the district as needed to complete the planned work of the internal workforce.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in distribution operations including thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and Safety standards.
  • Must be familiar with the service territory to which assigned.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work are required.
  • Must be proficient in the operation of computer systems in a Windows environment and have the ability to learn new and complex systems.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

Base Salary: SG 06: $73,828-$92,284

Compensation Range:

$72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
