The Centre for Urban Solutions at School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is seeking an outstanding Research Associate with a background in geophysical investigation, geotechnical engineering, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Associate should be familiar with geophysical/geotechnical investigation, data analytics, and machine learning.
The Research Associate will be mainly responsible to process geophysical/geotechnical data and analyze the data using machine learning algorithms.
The position involves in conducting research, supervising undergraduate students, and writing project reports and scientific articles.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor Degree in geotechnical engineering or equivalent
Able to work independently and collaborate with team members;
Good verbal and written communication in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Working or research experience in geotechnical engineering and/or underground engineering of at least 1 years is desirable.
