About the role

We’re looking for our Entrepreneur in Residence — a catalyst for startup growth who can coach founders, shape strategy, and unlock opportunities that propel inclusive tech ventures from idea to impact.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in building a thriving global ecosystem of Disability Tech startups, guiding founders to grow scalable businesses that create meaningful change.

This role is based in the Sydney CBD office with hybrid work options and can be full time or part time.

As our Entrepreneur in Residence, you will:

  • Grow and curate a high-impact startup pipeline — identify, attract, and nurture exceptional Disability Tech founders globally, with a strong focus on lived experience and inclusion
  • Accelerate startup success — coach founders to refine product-market fit, commercialisation, investor readiness, and go-to-market strategy
  • Integrate strategic partnerships — connect startups with corporate, investor, and research partners to unlock growth opportunities
  • Drive ecosystem and portfolio growth — support alumni ventures, champion global collaborations, and amplify Remarkable’s impact across the disability innovation landscape
  • Represent Remarkable globally — engage at conferences, panels, and startup events to position Remarkable as the home of inclusive technology innovation

About you

You are a hands-on founder or startup ecosystem leader who thrives on building ventures that make a difference. You bring:

  • Proven experience founding, mentoring, or scaling startups
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn strategy into action
  • Deep empathy for founders and passion for inclusive innovation
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, working across diverse projects and teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Lived experience of disability will be highly regarded
