Hiring Unit:
School of Religious Studies


Position Summary:

  • Review daily event schedules and technical requirements in advance.

  • Transport, set-up , and connect AV equipment (projectors, screens, microphones, laptops, cameras, etc.).

  • Perform pre-event checks to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.

  • Arrange and test microphones, for speakers and panel discussions.

  • Configure and test video conferencing systems.

  • Ensure all necessary cables, adapters, and connectors are available and operational.

  • Provide on-site technical support during events, acting as the primary point of contact for the presenter(s) and organizer(s).

  • Assist presenters with connections.

  • Record the events for distribution purposes and advertising.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise promptly and professionally.

  • Greet clients and presenters.

  • Ensure all equipment is stored securely and systematically in the designated storage areas.

  • May assist in training new A/V hires on standard procedures and equipment.

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience:

High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience in the field of work  Advanced knowledge of audio/video graphic software
