What you’d be doing:

  • Consistently complete thorough and accurate property reinspections within designated cycle times within assigned geographic locations, while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Analyze repair estimates and ensure they are aligned with our estimating guidelines, and the scope of damage and material selection.
  • Conduct on-site reinspections as needed to verify the extent of damage versus the estimate prepared by a staff adjuster, third party adjuster or direct repair vendor.
  • Stay current on relevant building codes, construction/remediation methodologies, regulatory obligations, and emerging trends in property damage assessment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing reinspection data and recommending process and training enhancements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing and sharing reinspection findings to identify trends and potential opportunities.
  • Support catastrophe response as needed including

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in property and casualty field claims handling.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and analyzing property damage appraisals.
  • Experience in conducting property inspections and assessing damage.
  • Experience with Corelogic
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license not required; meets requirements for licensing in additional states as needed
  • Ability to lift heavy object/equipment as needed or climb ladders
  • Vehicle stipend provided
