Regional Business Manager, Core Lab-Assays
The Opportunity:
Launching new assay products in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and exploring business opportunities.
Prioritising the assay portfolio and tracking progress.
Creating and rolling out strategic plans for the SWA assay portfolio.
Strategically and commercially leading discussions with different teams (affiliate, regional, and global).
As the Regional Business Manager, Core Lab-Assays, you are responsible for:
Report to: The Business Lead, Core Lab, Asia Pacific Regional, Lab and C-Suite Value Stream.
Support the business management team in developing and implementing portfolio strategies to achieve business goals.
Networking is a big part of the role. You will build relationships with key commercial leaders in the region, work with the clinical/medical, market access, digital, and other regional teams.
Supporting affiliates in carrying out their planned portfolio strategies.
Travel: Expect to travel 20–30% of the time due to the job nature.
Who You Are:
Experience in: the core lab (clinical chemistry, immunoassay), IVD business.
Skills: ability to execute strategies, track results, and work in a matrix organisation (i.e., open to exploring in a regional team).
A background in sales, marketing, product management, and business development is preferred.
Stay curious about industry developments, such as IVD tech trends and potential impact on healthcare.
What you need:
Business acumen and knowledge of financials.
Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Work experience: At least 10 years' experience in a related field is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is essential, and an advanced degree (Master's, MBA, medical degree, or PhD) would be advantageous.
