About the Role

 

Duties will vary, depending on the task, the below are a selection of examples and are not an exclusive list of tasks to be performed.

·       Movement of stock at a pallet or individual level throughout the warehouse, from/to storage, on/off the refurbishment/repair lines.

·       Removal/replacement/tracking/recording of serial numbers

·       Visual and Functional unit assessments based on Dyson Guidelines

·       Cleaning of units and parts, including but not limited to machine and hand washing, polishing, drying, heat treatment

·       Disassembly/reassembly of units, removal/replacement of parts

·       Maintain/complete tracking for returned/refurbished/repair units systematically or through printed reports as necessary

·       Functional testing, including but not limited to air flow measurement, electrical testing, assembly

·       Conduct Secondary functional operational test to ensure no unit faults.

·       Break down, separate, and palletize inbound return units

·       Prepare and upload files to SAP.

·       Process consumer and retail return/exchange orders in SAP.  

·       Respond to requests via phone and email for return authorizations. 

·       Use a problem-solving mindset to explore areas for new and improved processes.

·       Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

 

About You

 

A dynamic, enthusiastic and collaborative professional with –

·       1-2 years Receiving /Warehouse experience, prior experience of refurbishment/repair a plus

·       Good interpersonal and communication skills

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       Willingness to learn and join in an active, high energy and high performing team

·       Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

·       Dexterity/Ability to utilize writing utensils (pen/pencil), calculators, Heat Guns, small hand-held tools, Screwdrivers, and other mechanical/electrical production equipment without assistance.

·       Able to walk and stand for 8 hours a day
