Supports Leisure Activities at Edelweiss facilities as a salesclerk, reservationist, equipment fitter, driver, or tour guide. Assists guests with bookings, payments, and equipment, provides local information, leads tours, ensures safety, and maintains accurate reports and guest satisfaction.

Major Duties:

  • DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works under general supervision of the Leisure Activities Manager in a variety of Edelweiss Leisure outlets. Specifically, the Alpine Adventures, Point Wellness Center and the Hausberg Ski Lodge. Duties will range from working as a retail salesclerk, activity reservationist, equipment fitter, shuttle driver, tour guide, and activities facilitator. Provides information to guests on all Leisure Activities offered to include schedules, prices, length of activities as well as available local "on your own" activities. Reserving bookings and taking payment for all activities offered from Tours, Spa treatments and Ski lesson activities. Assist guests in the fitting of clothing and equipment for winter and summer activities, i.e., skis, snowboards, bicycles, etc. Sells various souvenir retail items as well as accountable tickets for local ski lifts and attractions. Prepares daily activity reports indicating number of passengers of each tour, tickets sold, money collected etc. Informs supervisor when activity capacities are met in order to adjust schedules to increase availability for guests. Drives and leads groups of visitors through historical sites and areas, gives explanation, identification and description of monuments, interpretation of German and especially Bavarian history. Provides information of historical facts and other characteristics of the tour area and circumstances associated with their origin. Assists in developing new Tours to better serve guests. All tour presentations are conducted in English. Ensures a safe and fun environment for Just for Kid's activities and field trips including 100% accountability of all participants. Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will have experience in the hospitality or recreation field. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education.
