Salary Range: $105383 - $137000 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Real Estate Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Location Negotiable After Selection - Official Duty Station will be established in an approved U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office duty location. About the Position: See "Duties" Below.

Major Duties:

  • Serves as a Senior Regional Realty Specialist subject matter expert, and technical leader for all Real Estate Planning and Acquisition aspects of the Civil Works and support for other programs.
  • Quality Assurance over subordinate District programs in the planning and acquisition of property.
  • Recommendations of policy and work programs, the study of and reporting upon the necessity for modifications or additions to flood control, ecosystem restoration, and/or navigation projects.
  • Coordinates program and project execution missions of assigned Districts within the Regional Business Center.
  • Conducts compliance reviews to assure that internal operating controls are in place and being exercised by subordinate Districts.
  • Technical advisor to supported activities and other Federal and non-Federal Government agencies on activities, regulations, policies, laws, and precedents affecting real estate planning and acquisition.
  • Coordinates issues among the Division and HQUSACE.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Overseeing program and project execution missions; Coordinating planning and acquisition program technical issues and Developing and implement quality assurance techniques planning and acquisition actions, transactions, and instruments for compliance with applicable real estate procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
